MAYOR and Sheriff of Haverfordwest Cllr Randell Thomas-Turner and Cllr Dani Thomas-Turner attended the Haverfordwest High VC School Awards Ceremony on Thursday, September 10, to celebrate the achievements of the school’s many talented young people.

Mayor Randell enjoyed the company of Jonathan Davies, Headteacher, who joined Haverfordwest High VC School in September 2025 and is leading the school as it continues its journey of achieving excellence together.

For the County Town’s mayor, one of the highlights of the evening was presenting the Mayor’s Award to Seren Woof on behalf of Haverfordwest Town Council, which he viewed as an honour.

“Congratulations, Seren! It was a real privilege to recognise your achievement, and I wish you every success for the future,” he said as he paid tribute to the school and its pupils.

“A huge well done as well to every student recognised this evening. Nights like this are a wonderful reminder of the incredible young people we have here in our town and the importance of celebrating their hard work, commitment and achievements.

“Thank you to everyone at Haverfordwest High VC School for the invitation and for putting together such a special evening.”
