Pembrokeshire College photography student, Andrew Parry recently got the opportunity to spend the day at Freshwater West photographing Café MÔr’s 2017 opening.

The college’s commercial training arm, Central Training, arranged for Andrew to set up a photoshoot with the Pembrokeshire Beach Company’s famous food hut, giving a boost to his portfolio and working on a live brief.

Andrew, of Clarbeston Road, is a mature student, studying A-level Photography at the college on a part-time basis alongside an Open University degree in History.

Having previously worked as a school photographer, he was keen to update his skills.

“A lot has changed in the world of photography over the years, everything is digital now!” he said. “I really enjoyed the photoshoot with Café MÔr, it was a good opportunity to test out my new skills. I’m proof that it’s never too late to learn something new.”
