Rotarian Norman Spence, a long time member of the Saundersfoot Rotary Club and President on three separate occasions, initiated and carried out apresentation of three small training bicycles plus safety helmets to the children of Saundersfoot Playgroup recently.

He was accompanied by Rotarian Lionel Allen and his wife Joan. The children are pictured enjoying and showing off their newly learned skills whizzing around in the safety of the playground under the ever watchful eyes of the Playgroup leader Cheryl and her colleagues.

The three Rotarian guests were amazed and astounded at the speed at which the children adapted to learning to use the new toys.

Cheryl and her assistants were very grateful for the gifts of the cycles to the Playgroup from the local Rotary Club and stated they would be used for many years to come in teaching the youngsters how to balance and control cycles in a safe, happy and caring environment.
