The Seasiders paid the price for being too generous to their opponents in the first half of this Division Three West encounter away to Newcastle Emlyn.

Tenby showed plenty of endeavour, though, before the break, as after conceding 17 points to the home side, they pulled the match back to within two points before the interval, through tries from winger Simon Standford and prop Rob Clark, with Jimmy Davies adding a conversion and penalty kick.

However, the Seasiders couldn't finish off the fightback during the second half, as Newcastle Emlyn notched up a further 14 points without reply, to leave the final score 31-15 and leave Tenby to find themselves propping up the table.
