Tenby RNLI received an early Christmas present thanks to one of the resort’s popular hotels.
The owners of the Giltar Hotel, Malcolm Brace and Patrick Jenkins, celebrated their 10th anniversary recently with a charity night in aid of the vital coastal rescue service.
The Giltar’s Greatest Show was a superb two-course meal and a live tribute to the musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ which raised the magnificent sum of £1,000 for the charity.
“We had a fantastic celebration,” said Malcolm and Patrick.
“We were so pleased to have a full house for the evening with everyone enjoying a wonderful night for an excellent local cause.
“The hotel enjoys panoramic views of the sea, but we are only too well aware of the bravery and heroic actions of the RNLI crew and were pleased to support their valuable work by making a profitable donation from the evening.”
A raffle was also held on the evening and the Giltar would like to thank Celtic Holiday Parks and Folly Farm for donating prizes.
Receiving the cheque from Malcolm and Patrick at the lifeboat station, coxswain Phil John thanked them and those attending the show for their generosity.
