Whitland had a comfortable sixty one runs win at home to Neyland who could only reach 94-9 in response to a Whitland total of 155-5.

Young Nico Setaro was the Whitland hero with an excellent innings of 47 not out, supported by Wayne Jones with 22, Raff Williams with 20 not out and Iestyn Scourfield with 19.

Whitland rugby player John Tennick took 2-20 for the visitors and James Charles 2-29.

Andrew Slark with 30 led the Neyland challenge, but lacked support apart from Orrin Childe who scored 15.

Carl Smith with 3-21 and Daniel Newton with 3-26 destroyed the Neyland innings.

Crymych are through to the next round following a nine wickets win at home to Hundleton who were dismissed for 89 despite the efforts of Steve Williams with 32.

Charlie Howell (3-18), Ioan Davies (3-23) and Rhodri Lewis (2-13) took the wickets for Crymych who reached 90-1 in 17 overs.

Rhydian Wyn (36no) and Nitai Durey (31no) exerted control in an unbroken second wicket partnership.

Narberth were bowled out for 69 at home to Cresselly who won by five wickets upon reaching 72-5.

Richard Harries with 5-11 and Sam Harts with 4-25 ripped the heart out of the Narberth batting line-up and no one reached double figures apart from Aron Keane with 23.

Although Nick Evans took 2-11 and Tim Mills 2-13 Cresselly managed to accumulate the winning runs as Neale Williams scored 22 and George Wilkins 14 not out.

Stackpole were held to 105-7 at home to Pembroke after Sean Powell took 3-12 and Andrew Price 3-16.

Most of the Stackpole runs came from Rupert Davies with 47 and Lewys Wilkes with 35.

Sean Powell with 39 and Andrew Price with 38 not out both completed excellent all round displays to set up a seven wickets win for the visitors with a total of 108-3.

Saundersfoot were bowled out for 73 away to Fishguard as Scott Delaney took 5-20 for the home team, backed up by Gary Strawbridge (2-12) and Rhys Dalling (2-19).

Geoff March with 26 and Chris Hawkes with 16 were the pick of the Saundersfoot batsmen.

The consistent David Haynes with 44 not out steered Fishguard to a five wickets win on 78-5 after Jack Franklin had taken 2-17 and Chris Parker 2-21.

Lamphey were bowled out for 108 away to Hook. Dean Lawrence top scored with 31 and youngster Martin Carroll supported with 16.

For the Hook team Robert Owen picked up 3-22 and David Petrie 2-22.

Jack Britton with 41 not out cemented the Hook innings together, supported by Lee Morgan (24) and Bradley Flood (19) so that Hook achieved a six wickets win with a total of 109-4, with only three balls of the match remaining when the winning runs came.

Martin Carroll, the 15 year old Lamphey all-rounder followed up his useful batting with a wicket taking bowling spell of 4-24.

Llangwm (119-3) are also through to the second round with a seven wickets win away to Johnston who were dismissed for 118.
