Carew 154-5 Pembroke 76-10
Two days after the disappointment of losing the Harrison Allen semi-final, Carew showed just what they are capable of in limited overs cup cricket by thrashing Pembroke at home.
Batting first, they scored 154-5, with Ian Sefton hitting 33 and Nick Scourfield 20, the duo putting on 57 for the first wicket.
When they departed, the impetus continued as Wayne Cannon hit 20, Phil Jones 15 and Barry Evans a swashbuckling 36 not out as Andrew price took 2-18.
Pembroke were never in it as they were bundled out for 76, despite 22 not out from Colin Kaijaks and 16 from Paul White.
Ceri Brace had the best figures, taking 2-13, while Sefton showed his all-round ability with 2-18.
Meanwhile, Cresselly are through to the next round of the Alec Colley Cup as they travelled to Llanrhian and restricted them to 99. They passed this for the loss of three wickets as Rhydian Rees scored 41 not out and Neal Williams 35.
In another match, St Ishmaels passed Johnston's total of 113-7 for the loss of six wickets as they reached 116.
