Tenby's inshore lifeboat crew were called out at 5.30 pm on Saturday after the vessel Seal Express found a windsurf board drifting off Old Castle Head.

The ILB arrived on scene and assessed that the board had not been in the water long.

Whilst the coastguard were deciding whether to get more units involved, the coxswain of the resort's lifeboat found out that the board had been lost off a passing sailing vessel earlier in the day. The ILB took the board back to Tenby.
