Well-known local actor Dave Ainsworth (pictured) has focused his writing talent on Pembroke Dock and has produced a new show especially for the town's bicentenary year called 'Don't Knock the Dock'. The one-man show will staged at the Pater Hall on Friday, June 27, starting at 7.30 pm, is a stand-up comedy show featuring Pembroke Dock's 200-year history. Dave Ainsworth's most recent stand-up comedy shows include - Lloyd George knew My Second Cousin (twice removed) (2012), Augustus John, you turn me on! (2011), Land of My Grandfather (2010) and Mrs Slocombe's Cat 2009. All enjoyed sell-out status at The Torch Theatre. Dave's comedy dwells on observation and reflects on what has happened in the past. The aim is always to marry humour with local history.
