TENBY Dolphins, the premier swimming club in Pembrokeshire, are with the kind assistance of Chevron, shortly installing a new record board at Tenby Leisure Centre. The board will display the current record holders of various race categories for eight and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15 and over for both boys and girls. They are for swims at any venue, not just in Tenby, but the times for either 25m or 50m pools must have been recorded whilst the swimmers were members of the club. The club has very comprehensive computerised records of all the swimmers achievements for the past four years, but prior to this the information is a little sketchy. The club would, therefore, like to invite all former members to have a look through their medals, trophies and boxes in the attic to see if they have any proof of past glories that they feel may still take pride of place in the new display.
