'Pick up after you pooch'. That's the message from police who are renewing their concerns about dog fouling.

Officers say it has become increasingly apparent that dog owners are allowing their dogs to foul the Tenby and Saundersfoot areas, in particular St. Johns Hill and The Green and Marsh Road in Tenby and the beach at Saundersfoot.

Dyfed Powys Police are appealing to dog owners to 'pick up' after their pooches or face fines.

Said a police spokesperson: "It is very unpleasant for others to be victims of this offence and police are urging owners to be more environmentally friendly."
