Sir,

I live locally and recently brought my children into Tenby town to do some errands and a little shopping.

I love Tenby and I am very proud to say its my local town.

However, I have to say I am so very disappointed. While on our little outing to Tenby with a three-year-old walking and a nine-month-old in a pushchair, it was almost impossible to walk on the pavements because of the amount of dog faeces.

My three-year-old daughter was asking me questions about St. Catherine's Island and I could not really look and walk as there was so much dog mess I had to constantly watch where we were walking.

In the end, we walked on the road. Tenby is so beautiful and it would be nice to be able to walk around and actually take in the beauty of the town and the beautiful views and buildings instead of constantly having to look down to make sure you don't get dog faeces on your shoes or pushchair.

If this is what I think then I dread to think what people visiting the town would think!

It has to be local people who live in town at this time of year. So come on Tenby let's take a bit of pride of your town and clear up after your dog.

S. Werner,
