Police are investigating a 'distressing' incident during which a 17-year-old cyclist was left fearing for his own safety. The incident occurred at approximately 4.50 pm on Friday, when a white-coloured Ford Transit flat-bed pick-up pulled up alongside the cyclist in Marsh Road, Tenby, and verbally threatened the youth. The youth then cycled into the Salterns car park, followed by the Transit pick-up. The front seat passenger of the van, wearing a balaclava over his head, then got out of the vehicle and ran after the youth on the bicycle, causing him to flee for his personal safety. The incident caused 'great distress' to the youth, and Tenby police are appealing for any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information, to contact them on 0834 330 2000
