Sir, It was with disbelief that we read the letter from Janet E. Bartlett concerning the proposed planning development on Amroth sea front for which, we were very pleased to learn, permission has been granted. As distinct from this lady, we live and have our business here. Both our large families, natives of the place, have lived here for many years, and many of our relatives still do. It may be said that we have a vested interest because it is well known in the village that we are also intending to apply for planning permission for two houses on the sea front. These will be for our two children and future grandchildren, who we hope will carry on our family business and continue to live here after our days. We hope that there will be no objections to any such responsible proposals, and that should there be any, they will not be from those who only have holiday homes here.
