PICTURED are Mike and Betty Grove who have been celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary with a visit to the town where they spent their honeymoon.
The couple fell in love with Tenby after their visit in 1952 and have holidayed in the resort every year since.
Although their 60th wedding anniversary is not until July 12, the couple, of Bentley Heath, Solihull, spent last week staying at the Imperial Hotel.
Over the years, Mike and Betty, who met when they both worked for the Avon India Rubber Company in Birmingham, have taken a great interest in life in Tenby and have made a large number of friends during their visits. They are also Observer subscribers and enjoy keeping up to date with all the local news.
The couple have three children, Jayne, Richard and Jill, three grandchildren Alice, Thomas and Catriona, and one great-granddaughter Jessica, who is three.
When asked for their recipe for a long and happy marriage, both agreed it was 'give and take'.
"We very rarely argue," said Betty, with Mike adding: "We fall in with each other. I couldn't find anybody better than Betty."
