An 11-year-old child has been left devastated after a motorist pulled up and stole his pedal cycle while he played with friends in Jameston.
The incident occurred at approximately 10.30 am last Thursday, April 20, when the children were playing at the play area in the village.
A white coloured motor car pulled up outside the entrance and the middle aged driver got out and took the red and silver coloured Apollo-make pedal cycle from the gateway. He then placed it in his vehicle and drove off.
