DEER PARK WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP
The start of the winter session opened brightly last Tuesday, with president Mrs. Joan Lewis extending a very warm welcome to members and guest speaker Pastor Tom Török, and continuing with her chosen Bible reading from John chapter 1, followed by the pastor offering the prayer.
Luke 10 describing the story of the Good Samaritan was the basis of the address on the theme 'Back to Basics' to demonstrate the true Christian way of life, a message as described by Mrs. Lewis in her vote of thanks leaving much food for thought.
Mrs. Olwen Dickinson was the pianist, and tea hostesses were Mrs. Joan Lewis and Mrs. Phyllis Hawkins.
Next week, the guest speaker will be Mrs. Pam Hart. Any visitors can be assured of a very warm welcome. Meetings are held each Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 pm.
