The welcoming door steward was Mr. Gerald Duffett, while Mrs. Helen Hills announced the church's family news and events for the coming week. As this Sunday was Remembrance Sunday, the two minutes silence was observed, with suitable readings given by Mr. Kevin Adams. Kevin also chose the hymns and led the worship time. The junior church leaders were Mrs. Helen Hills and Mrs. Myra Hopkins. Several members of the congregation took part in prayer, which was introduced by Mr. Bryn Rees. Guest preacher was Mr. Colin Joy from Narberth, who drew on his experiences in the Second World War and contrasted them with the present time, mentioning that many who died during this time fought to bring peace, liberty, freedom of speech. This hasn't happened. Yet when Jesus died, he did so to bring peace, liberty, strength, security and truth for individuals. His word to his followers was then, as now, 'Love each other'.
