Mr. Gerald Duffett welcomed visitors from many parts of Britain and also a person from New Zeeland.  

During the time of worship led by the music group, Mr. Bryn Rees introduced the prayer time.

The reading taken from the prophet Isaiah, chapter 40, was read by Mr. Gerald Duffett, who welcomed the preacher, Mr. Colin Joy from Narberth.

Colin, in his unique style, enlightened the congregation by answering the questions posed by Isaiah, 'Don't you know? Have you not heard?' Isaiah records some of the character and aspects of God, such as the Creator of the Universe, that he is totally in control of life on this planet. Yet in the latter verses of the chapter, he provides practical advice to those who struggle through life, 'Wait upon the Lord'.

Colin used the expression 'Go to Jesus. And trust Him.'

There will be Bible study on Tuesday at 7.30 pm in the church hall, but the Thursday parent toddlers group will not meet during the school holidays. For further information, ring 843392.
