Mrs. Helen Hills welcomed and gave the family notices to a congregation who were enjoying the walk to church in fine sunshine. The worship was led by the music group, Barbara, Nan, Tessa and Alan. Before the young people left the service for their Sunday Club, a visitor gave a solo which was of his own composition, and accompanied himself on his guitar. The open prayer time was led by Helen, which included praise for the beauty of the natural world as well the salvation to be found in Christ. The sermon and reading were given by Mr. Colin Joy from Narberth. Colin chose as his theme the way in which the members of the early church, after Pentecost, went about living out their Christian lives. They were fervent and committed to the teaching of the disciples of Jesus. They realised the importance of meeting together, remembering the memory of Jesus in the 'breaking of bread' and of prayer. Colin emphasised that his was a pattern to be followed for Christians today. The parent toddler group which usually meets on Thursday mornings will not do so during the school holidays.
