Visitors, including several from Ireland, were welcomed by the Pastor Tom Torok to the service on Sunday. The young people from the Junior Lightseekers Club joined the worship group in leading worship. Mrs. Sharron Hardwick led prayers and two people who were uppermost in our prayers were Mrs. Doreen Bissile, who now lives in Bristol, and the Rev. Robin Davies, both who are unwell and needing hospital treatment. The preacher was the Rev. Robert James who until recently was Pastor of Mount Pleasant, Pembroke. Rob took the well-known story of the man of faith Abram, and applied his knowledge and understanding of the ways of God to the individual lives of Christians today and that of the church in general. The experiences of Abram suggest God is in control of history, yet each individual has a key role to play. God achieves his purposes through people. It is incumbent, if one is to receive any blessings from God, to follow the example of Abram in his realm of obedience to his calling from God. This Sunday morning, the service will start at 10.45 am and a member of the London City Mission will be visiting. For more details, see the website http://www.dpbtenby.co.uk">www.dpbtenby.co.uk
