A Tenby man appeared before a judge on Friday to deny a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

Nathan James Morris, aged 23, was before Judge John Diehl at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing.

He denied killing Gavin Collier, aged 20, by driving a blue Peugeot 106 dangerously on the A4139 at Penally, near Tenby, on the afternoon of February 10.

The Peugeot, in which Mr. Collier was a front seat passenger, collided with a parked car.

Morris, the driver, was airlifted to the University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff, because of his injuries.

After his death, hundreds of tributes were left on Mr. Collier's Facebook site and more than 1,000 mourners attended his funeral.

There will be a further plea and case management hearing next Friday.

Morris is from Tenby, but he was bailed to an address in Cirencester.
