This year's quiz organised by St. Clears Deanery Mothers Union was held in the Memorial Hall, Whitland, with many teams taking part. Last year's winners, Whitland, hosts for the evening, provided refreshments. Wally Rainbow, the question master, entertained with his repartee and choice of questions from the Bible and general knowledge, including cryptic clues of a less serious nature. A high score made St. Clears the winners, and the Rev. Jeffrey Gainer MA LLM presented the shield to the winning team.
