TALENT scouts have discovered a star in the making. Daniel Rolls, aged 12, from Pembroke Dock caught the judges' eye, when he fought off hundreds of competitors, to be selected for the semi-finals of MAOAM Dance Mayhem 2007. For the fourth year running, the producers of the fruit flavour chew are bringing you the nation's biggest under-18 freestyle dance competition. Having teamed up with top teen event organisers CLUBDTV.com, TV Hits magazine and http://www.teentoday.co.uk">www.teentoday.co.uk, the race is now on to find the overall champions of MAOAM Dance Mayhem 2007. With the pressure on and the competition heating up, competitors have been performing some remarkable moves and flips on the dance floor. Daniel has been invited to perform on August 28, at Bristol's Syndicate Superclub alongside nine other successful semi-finalists to a crowd of thousands and an expert judging panel. The two most impressive performers from this heat will be invited to the Grand Final in October. If Daniel becomes the 2007 champion, he will win a place on the books of prestigious London dance and model agency Accelerate Productions and receive his own professionally edited show reel and portfolio on DVD. He will also taste the superstar lifestyle by being transformed and photographed by top music photographer Darren Paul, who has worked with the likes of Girls Aloud, Big Brovaz and Jamelia. On top of that he will be treated to a master dance session with World Dance Champion Tommy Kamel and receive a year's supply of MAOAM. Daniel said: "I'm so excited to be going through to the semi-final, I can't wait! I'm going to practice my moves until then and hope to impress the judges. I have seen some of the other dancers and the competition is definitely tough." Per Henérius, from MAOAM, said: "Daniel delivered a smashing performance in the audition stages, capturing the judges' attention instantly. The competition this year has been very strong and we have seen some very impressive freestylers, with moves that even our judges have not seen before. It is very exciting to be part of this phenomenon and to see the calibre of participants improve every year."
