The TROTs running club at St. Clears are holding their annual Dambuster 10K run on Sunday, June 17, at the beautiful Llys-y-Fran Dam. Start will be at 11 am and the entry fee will be £5. Entries will be accepted on the day. Medals, goody bags to all finishers, and trophies to category winners.
This off-road multi-terrain race provides a lovely scenic route around the dam. Everyone is welcome - fun runners and club runners alike.

A number of TROT runners, meanwhile, took part in the Drefach Country Club five-and-a-half mile race on May 28, winning the team event.
Peter Griffiths led the field home with an excellent personal performance, finishing in a time of 31.25, while other TROT runners finished as follows: 2. Evan Williams 31.35; 4. Dewi Jones 32.10; 5. Malcolm Adams 33.02; 6. Ian Williams 33.10; 10. Dave Griffiths 39.16; 11. Mike Hodges 42.59.
