A special evening celebrating the success of a group of Welsh language students was held in Narberth recently. The Welsh for Adults students, who sat the WJEC 'Defnyddio'r Gymraeg examinations and Open College Network Wales accreditation units, commemorated their achievements with a night out at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel. Clr. Islwyn Howells, cabinet member for the Welsh language, presented students with their certificates. Clr. Howells praised both the students and their tutors for their efforts. "It is wonderful to see so many people in the county learning Welsh and succeeding," he said. In total, 400 students from across the county successfully gained a qualification this year.
