Cylch Meithrin Hywel Dda is celebrating 40 years this month and recently the children of the Cylch Meithrin, Cylch Ti a Fi and Whitland Primary School entered a competition to design a 40th birthday card for the Cylch.

The winners of the different age groups are pictured, Celyn, Gwenllian, Nia, Daniel, Creddy, Phillip, Jamie, Megan and Rhodri, (Rhiannon was also a winner, but is absent from the picture).

They received a prize of £5 each which was very kindly sponsored by Gus and Cinthia, of Whitland News.

The cards are on display for all to see at Gizmo's Cards and Gifts, Whitland.

A very successful open day and duck race was held on Saturday, September 17, and a full report will appear soon.
