Narberth had a comfortable win at home to Burton, in the first round of the Thomas Scourfield and Son Harrison-Allen Bowl

Marc Hughes 58 and Kyle Quartermaine (56) with four sixes and five fours both scored briskly against the Second Division outfit and had ideal support from Joel Davies (28no).

Burton were bowled out for 107 in response with Phil Sutton (43) holding the innings together backed up by another experience campaigner Richard Hayman (26).

Ben Quartermaine, Ian Hughes and Ben Hughes each took two wickets at crucial times.

Bowl holders Carew gave the visitors Camrose and Spittal short shift in reply to their total of 70 all out.

Five Carew bowlers took wickets and the pick of the bunch was spinner Ceri Brace with 4-10.

Carew openers Ian Sefton and Nick Scourfield reached 71 without loss in the eleventh over, with Sefton 36not out including four fours and two sixes and Scourfield 26 not out.

Saundersfoot scored 188-6 at home to Lawrenny after exhilarating batting by Nick Cope with 73 not out including seven sixes and one four supported by Danny Caine with 38.

Robert Williams, Jamie Lewis and Willie Morris each took two wickets for Lawrenny who were bowled out for 59 in reply. Robert Williams scored 26 but there were no other batsmen in double figures as Danny Caine took 5-24 and Simon Wood 3-17.

Haverfordwest had a comfortable win against St Ishmaels after totalling 179-7. Simon Holliday with 52 and Jonathan Strawbridge with 73 including five sixes and six fours provided a solid foundation for a larger total before left arm spinner Andrew Pawlett took 6-23 to cause a middle order collapse.

In reply, Tish reached 119-8 after Andrew Palmer scored 25 and Daniel Flynn 20.

Spinner Clive Tucker took 4-28 for Harfat.

Pembroke Dock were held to 104-9 away to Neyland. Nic Johnson top scored on 19 supported by Nick Daley with 18.

Patrick Hannon, Andrew Miller and Nicholas Koomen each picked up a brace of wickets for Neyland who reached 107-3 to win by seven wickets with almost five overs to spare.

Paul Murray had a match winning innings of 60 with three sixes and seven fours and Daniel Heeps was the pick of the Dock bowlers with 2-16.

In a low scoring match at Fishguard, a depleted Fishguard team were bowled out for 35 by the visitors St Clears as Nathan Evans took 4-8 and Martin Thomas 3-9.

The Saints won by nine wickets on a total of 40-1. Nathan Evans led the victory bid with 20.

Lamphey reached 155-3 away to Hundleton after an amazing innings by Lewis Haines who struck 70 not out with 10 fours and three sixes off just 27 balls.

He featured in a third wickets partnership of 81 with Nick Shelmerdine who scored 24 and earlier Hywel Gibbs scored 24 and Luca Trimarco 20.

Hundleton's brave effort ended on a total of 144-7 after consistent batting by Craig Williams (24), John Tysoe (22), Jonathan Williams (21) and Riaan Strydom (21 not out).

Jason Oatley, Hywel Gibbs and Grant Cole each took two wickets for the visitors.
