Crymych Football Club gears up to celebrate the kick-off of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 finals with a free entry Cymru Festival on July 4 and 5 at Crymych Arms.
The Crymych Cymru Festival will start on Friday night, with bands, local breweries and food stalls at the cordoned off car park of the Crymych Arms, which is the Clubhouse for Crymych FC.
Cymru’s tournament will start on Saturday, July 5, in Lucerne against the Netherlands with the kick-off at 5pm. The game will be shown at the Crymych Cymru Festival, where, again on Saturday, local bands will perform from 2pm onwards, along with stalls of real ale from local breweries and food stalls, attending the event.
The organiser of the Cymru Festival in Grymych will also be promoting the club's ambitions for a new Women's team at Crymych FC, and a campaign to draw in new players has been launched.
Also, the club has ambitions to purchase land on the edge of Crymych village to develop a new football pitch near the clubhouse at Crymych Arms.
The Cymru Festival is being celebrated across Wales with the support of the Football Association of Wales and support from Welsh Government.
