On Thursday, March 7, 13 pupils from Tenby Junior Community School took part in the Dyfed Primary School Cross Country Championships at Carmarthen.

Ella Wintle brought home the first medal for the junior school, finishing fourth in the Year 3 girls race.

She was also part of the winning Pembrokeshire team for her year group.

Ollie Palin was seventh in the Year 3 boys race, and along with Jake Henson, Jacob Salisbury and Jay Thomas, gained silver team position.

Well done to all the runners who took part and a big thank you to all the parents who helped on the day.
