A team of 18 children from Tenby Junior School recently took part in the annual cross country competition at Oakwood.

A great start was made by Eddie Waring, who came first in the Year 3 boys race, shortly followed by Iori Badham, who took first place in the Year 4 boys race. The winning streak continued with Lucy Wintle winning the Year 4 girls race, while Mila Blackwell wasn't far behind in seventh place.

The Year 4 girls were delighted to hear at the end of the competition that they had also won the Year 4 Girls Team Trophy!

All the other members of the team ran very well, especially in the difficult conditions. Well done to all of the team, you should be very proud of yourselves.
