Dyfed Powys Police is putting money seized from criminals to good use in our communities.
The force has received £25,000 from the Home Office's asset recovery scheme as a percentage of the money seized from criminals between October and December last year.
Some of this money is now being invested back into the community in a bid to make our communities better places to live and deter young people from a life of crime.
Detective Inspector Richard Hopkin said: "We have a very clear message in Dyfed Powys Police that crime does not pay and we work hard to ensure criminals do not benefit from their illegal behaviour.
"The public can help us with this by reporting to us anyone they suspect is living beyond their means and consequently off the proceeds of crime.
"We will continue to use the criminals money to benefit our communities and ensure Dyfed Powys remains a safe place to live."
