The nose and head straps of a head collar which was attached to a horse in the paddock of a field opposite West Holloway Farm, Penally, were cut sometime between 6.30 pm on Sunday and 5.30 the following evening. "The person/s responsible left the collar at the scene, rendering it useless and causing undue stress to the animal," said a police spokesman.
