Tenby will be a haven of noise over the weekend of April 11, 12 and 13, as it will be staging the national Town Crier Competition. The town will welcome 26 criers from around the UK to compete for the crown. "It's sure to be a noisy weekend, but guaranteed to be a lot of fun," said Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown, who hopes that volunteers will come forward to help with organising the event. "The more people that get involved, the better," she told her colleagues at a meeting of Tenby Town Council on Tuesday night.
