Local children spent an enjoyable afternoon on Saturday at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, attending a workshop on simple embroidery techniques based on underwater themes.

The session was organised by the Pembrokeshire branch of the Embroiderers' Guild, to accompany the current successful exhibition 'Liberated Rebels'.

Under the guidance of tutors Lyn Lewis, Anne Embrey and Eva Tripp-Whitting, the children had an exciting time exploring a range of seaside themes which they developed into highly creative artworks.

The 'Liberated Rebels' exhibition continues until June 27.
