The cream teas event held at Jeffreyston Church Hall on Wednesday, June 2, was a huge success. The packed Church Hall was busy throughout the afternoon, with teas being served from 2.30 pm until almost 5 pm.
Apart from the delicious cream teas, there was a bottle stall, cake stall and various raffles etc., all to raise money for the churches in Jeffreyston Parish.
The money raised by each of the churches was: Jeffreyston £406, Reynalton £61, Loveston £130 and East Williamston £58.
Grateful thanks are expressed to everyone who supported the fund-raising event; also the young waitresses and everyone who worked tirelessly to make the cream teas such a happy and successful occasion.
