Pictured are local cousins Jake Allen and Taine Brace who were able to fly the flag for Wales last week at an international football match.

Jake, who attends Greenhill School and Taine, a pupil of Stepaside School, were chosen to be ‘flag bearers’ at the Wales v Northern Ireland friendly warm-up match ahead of this summer’s European Championships.

Although the weather was awful, it didn’t dampen the lads spirits at the Cardiff City Stadium and they enjoyed a great night, along with all the other youngsters involved at the match which ended in a 1-1 draw, thanks to a late equalising penalty from Wales.
