A TENBY man awaits sentencing for having two knives with him at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.
Sion Williams, resident at The Croft, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, May 18 charged with possessing a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place “without good reason or lawful authority.”
The 50-year-old had pleaded not guilty to both charges on May 1 but was found guilty at the May 18 hearing.
On December 13, 2025 he had a hunting knife and a lock knife with him at Withybush General Hospital; each knife a separate offence.
Sentencing takes place at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on June 8. Williams was remanded on unconditional bail until the hearing, which he is obliged to attend.
