A sure sign that the summer season has gone and winter is on its way, is the boat lift at Tenby harbour.

Members of the public and local residents are reminded that the ‘Big Boat’ lift-out will take place on Monday, September 28.

Access will be required down to the harbour area from midnight for the heavy machinery around Penniless Cove, Castle Square, and St Julian Street.

A spokesperson for Tenby Sailing Club said: "Drivers around Penniless Cove, Castle Square, and St Julian Street are reminded to leave clear access for the large crane from midnight on Sunday.

"The first lift is scheduled for 4.30am."
