A SWANSEA man has been fined over £2,000 and disqualified for driving in Pembrokeshire while more than two times over the limit for alcohol.

Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 28, Ross Myhill, of Sydney Street, Brynhyfryd, pleaded guilty to the charge.

On July 8, 2026 at Broad Haven, Myhill had driven a Volkswagen Transporter on the B4341, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath (72ug in 100ml) more than doubled the prescribed limit.

The 46-year-old was disqualified from driving for 20 months, reduced by 20 weeks provided a course is completed by September 8, 2027.

He was also fined £2,700, his guilty plea being taken into account when sentencing.
