A HAVERFORDWEST man who in January had pleaded guilty to assault by beating last April has appeared before the Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.

On April 22, 2025 at Haverfordwest, William Gough, of Three Meadows, assaulted a female victim by beating.

The 42-year-old was convicted on January 7 on changing his plea to guilty.

On March 31, he was made subject to a 12-month community order that includes 100 hours of unpaid work, plus rehabilitation activity requiring him to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend appointments or participate in any activity up to a maximum of 15 days.

A surcharge of £114 was added to costs of £300, to be paid in monthly instalments of £50.
