A MAN from Hook in Pembrokeshire has been disqualified from driving for 40 months and handed a community order for drink driving
Kieran Gover, of New Road, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 18, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while over the limit for alcohol.
On August 2, he had driven a VW Golf on the A487 at Roch after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 73ug per 100ml, more than double the legal limit.
The 30-year-old was given a year-long community order requiring 120 hours’ unpaid work and up to 10 days of rehabilitation activity.
A surcharge of £114 was added to court costs of £85.
