A PEMBROKESHIRE woman has received a two-year ban after drink-driving at Goodwick.
Samantha Burns, of Brynawelon, Goodwick, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 18, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi Q2 at Tesco’s car park, The Parrog, on July 29 after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in her breath - 98ug in 100 ml of breath - was well over twice the legal limit.
The 46-year-old was disqualified from driving for 24 months, to be reduced by 24 weeks provided a course is completed by January 2, 2028.
Burns was also fined £576, and received ‘no points’ driving record endorsements for using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid licence or third party insurance.
