A PEMBROKE Dock man has been sent to Crown Court for trial on conditional bail.

Paul Griffiths, of Stranraer Road, Pennar, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on March 16.

There, the 40-year-old pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault at Pembroke Dock on March 13.

Additional historical allegations of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Pembroke Dock involved the same alleged victim - once in April 2022 and once in July 2020. Pleas were not entered at this stage, pending the trial at Swansea on April 1.

Bail conditions require the defendant to live and sleep each night at his home address, but not to otherwise enter Pembroke Dock except for driving through the town.
