A PEMBROKE DOCK man has received a 15-month ban for drug driving on a local road.

Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, August 24, Simon Mills, of Old School Court, Pennar pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a controlled drug above the specified limit.

Court reports say that on March 25 at Pembroke Dock, Mills drove a Range Rover on Main Street, Pennar [sic] when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood, namely 3.0 micrograms of per litre, exceeded the legal limit.

The 58-year-old was disqualified for 15 months and fined £120, his guilty plea being taken into account.

Costs to CPS amounted to £85, to which a surcharge of £48 was added.
