A MAN from Haverfordwest has been fined for possession of a class A controlled drug.

Asa Wandelt, of Harrier Road, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 4.

At Swansea on June 13, 2026 Wandelt had in his possession a quantity of cocaine, which is a controlled drug of class A - in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

The 37-year-old pleaded guilty, and the guilty plea taken was taken into account for sentencing. He was fined £120, and the forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine was ordered.

Costs to Crown Prosecution Service amounted to £85.
