A MAN from Haverfordwest was in court recently after stealing a patio set, worth £120, from Morrisons supermarket.
Michael Tomlin, of Coronation Avenue, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 28.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to theft from a shop and was fined £40, his guilty plea being taken into account.
On June 24 at Haverfordwest, Tomlin stole the patio set, to the value of £120, belonging to Morrisons supermarket. It was stated that there was “no loss or damage”, so the court ruled that no compensation was required to be paid.
Costs to Crown Prosecution Service amounted to an additional £85, making the total payable £125.
