AT Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on October 5, a St Florence man and a Milford woman were re-sentenced following health concerns, and a Haverfordwest man was fined for community order failures.
Health concerns
A MAN from St Florence has been granted re-sentencing on the grounds of health concerns.
Christopher Marsh, of The Grove, applied to revoke a community order made by Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Magistrates’ Court on August 20 over potential health problems arising from the wearing of an electronic monitoring tag.
The 50-year-old had been given the community order after an incident at Skrinkle Haven on July 30. Marsh had approached a person he had been forbidden from contacting by a restraining order imposed at Magistrates’ Court on July 23.
The community order was revoked and a new one made. The defendant must comply with the following requirements by October 4, 2028: Participate in an accredited ‘Building Choices’ programme for 26 days, 26 sessions; carry out unpaid work for 150 hours in accordance with the instructions of the responsible officer.
Mental health
CLAIRE Evans, 46, of Chestnut Way, Milford Haven, was granted a variation to a community order made at Haverfordwest on August 11, removing the ‘Building Choices’ programme on the grounds that she is unable to complete it owing to serious and verified mental health difficulties.
Order breach
A HAVERFORDWEST man was fined after admitting that he had failed to comply with a community order.
Paul Roberts, of Gerald Road, appeared in court on Monday, October 5 after failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on October 29.
The 46-year-old admitted failing to attend Probation Office appointments on September 9 and October 29.
Roberts was fined £120 and required to pay court costs of £60.
