Last Sunday saw the much-awaited local derby match take place at the Alpha Inn between the South Pembs Pool Team (represented by the Narberth League) and St. Clears.
And it turned out to be a great result for the home side, with session scores of 6-3, 5-4, 6-3 and 3-6, finishing up 20-16 winners.
Well done to the following who all had a good day, Wayne Morris three out of three, Lee Thomas three out of three, Simon Beynon two out of two, and Ben James three out of four, and a mention for Colin Hallwood, who recorded a nice eight ball clearance (I don't get many).
Other results saw Cardiff Cavaliers beat Caldicot 20-16, while the Vale of Glamorgan won big at Cardigan 22-14. And next month's match for the team sees them travel to Vale for what could be a tricky clash.
