Division One
Carew increased their lead at the top of Division One with a five wickets win at home to Narberth who reached 174 before being dismissed despite a sluggish start.
Sluggish it might have been but Wayne Howells with 34 and Tom Fox with 30 also gave the visitors a sound platform with a first wicket partnership of 65 and five other batsmen got double figures and increased the run rate at the same time.
Marc Hughes was the only one of the five to top the 20 mark in his innings of 23.
The Carew bowlers leaked runs towards the end of the Narberth innings with some philanthropic bowling which saw length balls disappearing at regular intervals over the hedge at the Pigs' Cote end of the ground and into the gardens.
Rhys Davies took 4-54 and Darren Thomas 3-34 for Carew who reached a winning target of 177-5.
Brian Hall with 61 and Wayne Cannon with 30 had a third wicket partnership of 84, Ian Sefton scored 28 and an unbroken sixth wicket partnership between Phil Jones with 19no and skipper Rob Scourfield with 13no clinched top spot for Carew for another week.
Second placed Cresselly were held to a draw away to Hook after totalling 219-9.
Adam Chandler hit four sixes and seven fours in his dashing innings of 74, Julian Arthur supported with 32 and wicket keeper Neilson Cole with 23.
For Hook, Ross Martin took 4-39 and Tom Blaxland 4-56.
Ross Martin proved to be the major stumbling block to a Cresselly victory bid in his innings of 45, Martyn Rees scored 27 and Ben Field 25 in Hook's total of 151-9.
Lyn Richards took 3-54 and there were two wickets each for Stefan Jenkins and skipper Simon Cole.
St Ishmaels were held to 134-9 away to Lawrenny as Stephen Rees took 3-21 and Ben Cole 3-29.
Tish skipper Peter Bradshaw and James Salter both scored 28 supported by Jonathan Pawlett with 22.
All rounder Andrew Williams destroyed the Lawrenny batting line up which was depleted as some players were at the Royal Welsh Show and others at a wedding.
Williams had the excellent figures of 7-15 in 11.3 overs. Steve Lewis with 26 and opening batsman Andrew Cole with 23 offered the most resistance for Lawrenny who were bowled out for 83 in reply to the Tish total.
Llangwm were bowled out for 148 at home to Neyland as spinner Phil Davies took 5-15 and skipper Andrew Miller 3-48.
Andrew Harries had a fighting innings of 40 supported by Gary Phillips with 28, Luke Brock with 23 and Joseph Kiff with 21.
Neyland won by seven wickets with overs to spare as two in form batsmen scored the runs. Scott John reached 65no and Andrew Miller scored 53.
Whitland picked up their much needed second win of the season by a five wickets margin at home to defending Division One champions Haverfordwest who were held to 165-8. David Davies scored 35, Richard James 30, Adam Raymond 24 and left hander Phil Kirkby 23no.
Matthew Davies took 4-50 and after the tea interval, Whitland prospered during a second wicket partnership between Paul Davies and Edward John.
The two left handers added 106 for the second wicket with Davies scoring 66 and John 63.
Steve Fraser maintained the momentum in his brief innings of 16no to get Whitland to a winning total of 167-5.
Phil Kirkby took 3-47 for the visitors.
Division Two
League leaders Carew Seconds were involved in an exciting finish away to Haverfordwest Seconds when six runs were required to win from the last over and two runs from the last ball. Joe Kidney was on strike and Steve Ive backed up well for the pair to scamper a single which levelled the scores on 172 each.
Haverfordwest Seconds scored 172-8 after excellent batting by opener Mark Cross with 55, Julian James with 28 and Josh Wilment with 22.
All rounder Tom Davies took 3-26, his father Aled 2-38 and Steve Ive 2-37.
After a poor start when the visitors were 3-2 a third wicket partnership of 122 between Tom Davies with 79 including 10 fours and Barry Evans with 50 including eight fours pulled things around for the visitors who lost their way a little before the dramatic last over secured a share of the spoils.
Josh Wilment was the pick of the town bowlers with a return of 3-40.
Cresselly Seconds scored 209-9 at home to Herbrandston who held on for a draw in reply with a total of 176-9.
For the Cresselly team Neal Williams scored 36 and Jack Murphy 32 and before Sam Harts reached 40no.
Steve Bennett took 3-61 for the visitors who made a bid to win the match as Alan McClelland scored 49 and Nathan Banner 33.
Leigh Marchant with 24 and Dean John with 26 continued to go for the runs and John hit one of the biggest sixes seen at the ground in years by hitting a ball from the "Mound" side of the square into the field adjoining the Cresselly changing rooms.
However wickets clattered and the last pair put the shutters up.
Skipper Richard Arthur finished with figures of 4-18 and dismissed Alan McClelland and Nathan Banner with successive deliveries.
In a low scoring match at Saundersfoot the visitors Pembroke won by three wickets after dismissing Saundersfoot for 72.
Yannick Parker top scored for the seasiders with 23 supported by Mike Franklin with 15.
The experienced Kevin Jenkins took 5-12 in 12 accurate overs backed up by Gwyn Griffiths and Sean Powell who each took two wickets.
Pembroke reached 76-7 in reply with Phil Hay19, Paul White 18 and Colin Kaijaks 16.
Danny Caine was the pick of the Saundersfoot bowlers with 4-20 and Kevin Sykes took 2-28.
In other Division Two matches Johnston totalled 219-8 but the visitors Burton managed to draw the match by reaching 168-8 in reply.
No play was possible in the fixture between Fishguard and Stackpole.
Division Three
Second placed Pembroke Dock maintained their challenge on leaders Whitland Seconds with a win at Llanrhian after being bowled out for just 100.
Skipper Nick Daley top scored with 29 supported by left hander John Davies with 24. Ben Jones was the pick of the Llanrhian bowlers with 3-23.
Left arm spinner Jason Coles and seamer John Camani bowled the visitors to victory with figures of 5-20 and 4-32 respectively.
Geraint Morris was the leading Llanrhian batsman with 16 in a team total of 82.
Lamphey were bowled out for a disappointing total of 75 at home to Llechryd. Richard Connolly took 5-19 after left arm medium pacer Adam Maehrlein had run through the early order with a 4-31 spell.
Opening batsman Rob Mathias resisted with 25 and combined with skipper Jason Oatley with 15 in the highest stand of the innings one of 24 for the ninth wicket.
Llechryd were bowled out for an even lower total just 46. Adam Maehrlein with 13no out was the only player in double figures as Steve Vale took 4-9, to reduce the visitors to 12-4 and support came from Jason Oatley with 3-15 and spinner Hywel Gibbs with 3-9.
Leaders Whitland Seconds fought to save the match away to Narberth Seconds and secured a draw with a total of 158-8 in response to a Narberth total of 209-8.
Ben Hughes with 63 including two sixes and seven fours and Mike Williams with a hard hitting 51 with 11 fours enabled Narberth Seconds to recover from a poor start and Ceri Davies provided support with 28.
Matthew Webb took 4-35 and Stuart Harris 3-36 for the visitors.
Opening batsman Meyrick Rowlands held things together for the Whitland team with 44 supported by Daniel Newton with 21 and Matthew Webb with 19 as Mike Williams took 4-31 and the evergreen Nick Evans 3-49.
No play was possible in the match between St Ishmaels Seconds and Hundleton.
Division Four
Pembroke Seconds had an eight wickets win at home to Hook Seconds after dismissing the visitors for 60. Rob Owen was the only batsman in double figures with 12 as Paul Rogers took 3-7, Jamie Kaijaks 2-10 and Robin Badham 2-9.
Simon Smith-Wrench with 26 and Hugh Davies with 21no took the Pembroke team to a winning total of 62-2.
Lawrenny Seconds lost by 33 runs away to Haverfordwest Thirds after being bowled out for 66 in reply to a Haverfordwest Thirds total of 99.
For the town team Josh Hicks scored 26 and John Fuller took 4-30. When Lawrenny replied, John Fuller scored the bulk of the runs in a fighting innings of 40 as Paul Jenkins took 4-28 and James Morris 3-22.
Over 400 runs were scored at Burton where Burton Seconds reached 205-5 at home to Kilgetty.
Ross Edwards scored 94no with one six and 13 fours supported by Tom Baker with 56.
Skipper Richard Gwyther and Andrew Evans both took two wickets for Kilgetty.
At one time Kilgetty looked to be well behind the clock but a match winning eighth wicket partnership of 85 between Anthony Bevan and Mike Beynon gave the visitors the edge.
Bevan scored 68no with one six and nine fours and Beynon 30 with six fours and when the stand was broken, Rob Beynon stayed until the end with 11no in an exciting finish as the visitors won by two wickets.
Earlier openers Steve Flook and Jake Marsh had scored 27 and 19 respectively.
Division Five
St Florence were dismissed for 122 at the Tony Scourfield ground in Carew away to Carew Thirds.
A former Carew stalwart Peter Hall held the St Florence innings together with his knock of 70 supported by Justin Evans with 20.
For the Carew team Oliver Cole took 4-50, Kerry Waters 3-16 and Luke Hicks 2-35.
Carew Thirds had slumped to 36-7 but Luke Hicks secured a draw with 25no in a Carew total of 82-8. Kerry Waters also chipped in with 17.
Ben MacDonnell took 3-11 in 12 tight overs, Peter Hall 2-17 and Tommy Roberts 2-24.
Saundersfoot Seconds won by nine wickets away to Llechryd Seconds after dismissing the home team for 118.
Dewi Davies with 43no held things together for Llechryd Seconds backed up by John Quinney with 24.
For the visitors Sam Franklin took 3-21 and there were two wickets each for Chris Parker and Chris Hawkes.
Sam Franklin had an undefeated innings of 59 with six fours and Chris Hawkes had a solid innings of 37 in the Saundersfoot total of 120-1.
No play was possible in the fixtures between Llangwm Thirds and Whitland Thirds and between Cresselly Thirds and Llanrhian Seconds.
Division Six
Pembroke Dock Seconds won by six wickets at home to Crymych Seconds after bowling out the visitors for 48 as Neil Hallett took 5-29 and Andrew Wood 2-10.
The Dock reached 49-4 in reply as James Olyott scored 16no and Peter Kingdom 12.
Marc Thomas took 2-11 for the visitors.
At Llanddewi Velfrey, Lamphey Seconds were bowled out for 75 away to Narberth Thirds. Opener Andrew Skeels scored 31no as spinner Neil Rossiter took 5-12 and Huw Simpkins 3-23.
Simpkins scored 35no in a Narberth Thirds total of 76-1 supported by Owen Richards with 16no and Ryan Williams with 14.
Maldwyn Llewellyn was the solitary wicket taker for the visitors.
